Fund Raising Training at Joypurhat
ADAB organized a training course on “Fund Raising and Organization Development Management” at DMSS (Dustha Manobatar Seba Sangstha) Training center, Joypurhat from 09 April to 10 April 2014. The training was conducted by Mr. Humayun Kabir, an independent consultant. Twenty-four NGO leaders from Bogra, Joypuraht, Natore and Sirajgonj District of Rajshahi division participated in the training course. DC Joypurhat, Mohammad Yeasin was inaugurated the training course.
Mr. Nurul Amin, Chairman of ADAB Joypurhat District Committee and Mr. Apurba Sarker, Member-Secretary of ADAB Joypurhat District Committee was present in the opening ceremony of the Training Course.

Mr. Tusar Shikder, Communication Officer of ADAB and Mr. KM Obaidur Rahman, Divisional Coordinator of ADAB Rajshahi Division jointly coordinated the total session.
At the first day of two days training, the facilitator discussed about Introduction to fund raising, Analysis of grant markets, Different approaches and technique of fund raising, Actions of fund raising and Return on Investment (ROI).

In the Second day the under mentioned topics are adorably discussed by the Training Facilitator:
- The Technique of Project Proposal writing
- Generic outline of Project Proposal
- Background information, Strategy, Approaches and methodology
- Project management
- Sustainability and Budget preparation
- Organization Capacity Development
- Organization capacity assessment tool
- Organization capacity development plan
After discussion a practical session was done in four groups. The group leader from each group shortly briefs their work summery.
Certificate award ceremony
At the end of the training, a certificate was given to the participant. Mr. Nandolal Parshi, Ex panel mayor of Joypurhat Municipal handed over the certificate among the participant. The training program comes to an end with a photo session of the participants.
