ODM Training at Dhaka
ADAB organized a training course on ‘Fund Raising and Organization Development Management’ at USWS Training center, Adabor, Dhaka. The two days residential training was started on 28 January 2015 and closed on 29 January 2015. The training was inaugurated by Ms. Majeda Shwakat Ali, Vice-Chairperson of ADAB and Executive Director of Naria Unnyan Samity (NUSA), Sariatepur. Mr. AKM Jashim Uddin, Director of ADAB was present on the occasion.
Fund Raising Training at Comilla
Two days training on “Fund raising and organization development management” has held at Comilla NGO forum training center on 28-29 December 2014. The training was inaugurated by AKM Mamun-Ur-Rashid, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Comilla. Mr. Lokman Hakim, Executive Director, Page Development Centre and Mr. Md. Abdul Malek, Executive Director, Palli Unnayan Parishad (PUP) and Chairman ADAB Comilla District committee were also present in the opening session of the training.
Two Days Fund Raising Training at Dhaka
ADAB arranged a training on “Fund raising and organization development management” from 28 May to 29 May 2014 at ESSD Training Center in Dhaka. The two days training was inaugurated by Kawsar Alam Kanak, Program Coordinator, ADAB. Mr. Humayun Kabir, an independent consultant conduct the training. Tusar Shikder, Communication Officer of ADAB and Md. Nurul Amin, Divisional Coordinator of ADAB jointly coordinate the training course.
National Seminar on ‘National Integrity Strategy (NIS) and Role of NGOs’
ADAB organized a national seminar on ‘National Integrity Strategy (NIS) and Role of NGOs’ at CBCB auditorium, Mohammadpur, Dhaka on 20 December 2014. Senior Secretary of the Prime Minister’s office Mr. Abul Kalam Azad graced the seminar as chief guest. DG NGOAB Mr. Md. Nurun Nabi Talukder was also present on the occasion as special guest. ADAB Chairperson Ms. Rokeya Kabir, chaired the seminar. AKM Jashim Uddin, Director, ADAB presented the National Integrity Strategy (NIS) through multimedia projector. Ms. Majeda Shawkat Ali, Vice Chairperson, ADAB and Executive Director of NUSA and Ms. Shaheen Akter Dolly, EC Member, ADAB and Executive Director, Nari Maitree also spoke on the seminar.
Fund Raising Training at Joypurhat
ADAB organized a training course on “Fund Raising and Organization Development Management” at DMSS (Dustha Manobatar Seba Sangstha) Training center, Joypurhat from 09 April to 10 April 2014. The training was conducted by Mr. Humayun Kabir, an independent consultant. Twenty-four NGO leaders from Bogra, Joypuraht, Natore and Sirajgonj District of Rajshahi division participated in the training course. DC Joypurhat, Mohammad Yeasin was inaugurated the training course.
Seminar at Savar
ADAB Dhaka District committee organized a seminar on “National Women Development Policy-2011” at VARC auditorium, Anandapur, Savar on 24 November 2014. The seminar was graced by the Member of the National Parliament Dr. Md. Enamur Rahman. Al-haz Md. Kafil Uddin, Chairman, Savar Upazila, Mr. Ashraf Uddin Khan (Emu), renowned freedom fighter and former Member of the National Parliament, Ms. Khaleda Akter Jahan, Women Affairs Officer of Savar Upazila, Mr. Shaikh Abdul Halim, Executive Director of VARC and EC Member of ADAB spoke on the seminar.
Independence Day 2014
ADAB observed the Independence Day 2014 in central and district level. In the part of central program ADAB placed wreaths and bouquet adorned on the National Monument at Savar in the memory of the martyred who was sacrificed their life in the liberation war in 1971. ADAB Program Coordinator Mr. Kawsar Alam Kanak together with large number of personnel’s of member organizations was present on the occasion.
