Welcome to ADAB

ADAB is the leading and largest coordinating organization of the NGOs working in Bangladesh. ADAB mainly coordinates the local and national NGOs who are engaged in development works in Bangladesh and provides strategic help to enhance the efficiency of its member organizations.
Thirty nine years has passed since ADAB was formed. In its long journey, in every stage ADAB has duly acted as the time demanded to safeguard and greater interest of its member organizations. To meet the demand of time and soul searching endeavors ADAB’s objective and strategy has to be reassessed in different stages.
DG NGOAB has been welcomed by the ADAB Leaders at Rajshahi:

The Director General of NGO Affairs Bureau Md. Abdus Salam visited the Rajshahi zone on a two-day visit for exchanging views with the NGOs of Rajshahi. It was the first visit of Md. Abdus Salam at Rajshahi after joining NGOAB as DG. During his visit on 26th September 2018, chairman of ADAB Rajshahi District, Nure Jannat Mitu welcomed him on behalf of Rajshahi ADAB District branch at Rajshahi Airport. ADAB Executive Committee member Md. Hasinul Islam Chunnu along with other leaders of ADAB Rajshahi region were present at the time.

ADAB 36th AGM and EC Election

The 36th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of ADAB has been held on 23rd January 2016 at CBCB auditorium, Mohammedpur, Dhaka. The AGM was presided over by Rokeya Kabir, Chairperson, ADAB. The executive committee members of ADAB along with 162 councilors from different district participated on the AGM. ADAB Vice-chairperson Majeda Shwakat Ali, Executive committee Member Shaikh Abdul Halim, former chairperson Abdul Matin and former EC member Joyanta Adhikari delivered speech on the occasion.
Gender Training at Mymensingh

ADAB organized a training course on ‘Conceptual Clarity on Gender and Women Leadership Development’ at ASPADA Training Academy, Mymensingh. The two days residential training was started on 09 March 2015 and closed on 10 March 2015. The training was inaugurated by Mr. Md. Abdur Rashid, Executive Director of ASPADA Paribesh Unnayan Foundation. Chairman of ADAB Mymensingh District Committee and ED of Trinomul Unnayan Sangstha Mr. Khandoker Faruk Ahmed, women leader and renowned social worker Ms. Selina Rashid and Program Coordinator of ADAB Mr. Kawsar Alam Kanak were present on the occasion.
ODM Training at Dhaka

ADAB organized a training course on ‘Fund Raising and Organization Development Management’ at USWS Training center, Adabor, Dhaka. The two days residential training was started on 28 January 2015 and closed on 29 January 2015. The training was inaugurated by Ms. Majeda Shwakat Ali, Vice-Chairperson of ADAB and Executive Director of Naria Unnyan Samity (NUSA), Sariatepur. Mr. AKM Jashim Uddin, Director of ADAB was present on the occasion.
Fund Raising Training at Comilla

Two days training on “Fund raising and organization development management” has held at Comilla NGO forum training center on 28-29 December 2014. The training was inaugurated by AKM Mamun-Ur-Rashid, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Comilla. Mr. Lokman Hakim, Executive Director, Page Development Centre and Mr. Md. Abdul Malek, Executive Director, Palli Unnayan Parishad (PUP) and Chairman ADAB Comilla District committee were also present in the opening session of the training.
